Bridle Path Stable Summer Camps for children Ages 7-13 ( Going to grade 1 and up)

The owners of Bridle Path Stable have been in the industry for over 30 years and have turned their passion and hobby for horses into a fun-loving space to share with others the community. BPS is located in Goulds, NL on 46 acres of private land with lots of room to play and explore, an ideal place for youth to spend the summer. Over the past few years we have been slowly growing programs while we have been building a new larger stable with both indoor and outdoor program space to operate regardless of weather and year round.

We have been busy putting together a fun filled Summer of camps like no other! This is not your typical horse camp, as we have more than just horses here! Our summer camps are a great introduction to horses. Throughout the week campers will interact daily with our horses, learn and partake in horse care & horsemanship, participate in our Equine Assisted Learning & Leadership Program, riding lessons, outdoor recreation activities, fort building, games & sports, arts & crafts, along with other outdoor activities and learning.

*Campers will have 2 mounted private lessons during their camp week

We have made a few changes to our camp weeks this coming. In the past summers all weeks have been open to all ages and levels of riding and this will continue this for 6 of our weeks but will be reserving 1 Week during the summer for our preteen/teen riders of all levels & 2 Weeks during the summer for those with riding experience.

Summer Camps 2024

$425 + HST / week (based on 5 days week )

$200 non-refundable per child within 48hrs of registration

Youth Week

activities will be planned with our older horse lovers in mind and open to levels of riding from beginner and up

General Day Camps

Will be open to all ages and abilities.

Short Stirrup Week

Camp Weeks 1 & 6

Ages 9 - 14 years old

Level Advanced Beginner and up

This week is for our year-round riders that have some more experience with horses both riding & handling. Riders should be able to lead/groom/saddle/ ride walk - trot with minimal assistance.

Registration for this week will not be available on-line to ensure suitability of level please email to inquire/register bridlepathstable@gmail.com and spaces will be filled on a first come basis & suitability for this camp based on riding levels

All camps 9:00am – 4:30pm

Drop off 8:15am – 9:00am

Pick up 4:30pm – 5:00pm

** Early Drop off before 8: 15 am &/or Late pickups past 5:00pm will be charged in 15 min increments at $15.00 per increment

Registration & Cancelations

Registration All Registration for Camps will be competed online

Please note we will not be accepting in-person registration or payments and must be completed prior to arrival at camp.

Registration will be a 2-step process:

Step 1: Camp Shop

Check out the week(s) you would like to attend

Note: If you have multiple children enrolling in the same household you will have to have to check week(s) for each child, quantity in cart for the week should be equal to the children enrolling from your household. Our spaces are limited so this is important! Once you have completed your order you will receive an email confirmation of your order right away (also check your junk mail)

Step 2: Registration Form

Due to the nature of our business and the number of camp registration all registered will be contact by May 8 with a follow up from our staff.

A staff member will follow up with your Camp order via email, typically in 48 hours. You will set a detailed registration form to enter details for your camper(s), along with an Invoice for camp(s). A $200 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of invoice being sent for each week and each camper booked. Balance will be due 14 days prior to the start of the camp registered for. If payments are not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

** If you try to check out and the camp week is “backordered” this means the camp spaces for this week are filled but you can” backorder” to be waitlisted for specific weeks. If a space comes available, they will be offered to those on the backorder/waitlist first before releasing space to public, you can waitlist for as many weeks as you like.

Waitlist “Backorder” Procedure We will be accepting waitlist for camps. To be added to a waitlist you will need to select the week you would like to be waitlisted it will show as “backorder”. Waitlists will be filled in the order they are received through our registration/checkout system. You are not required to pay a deposit for a waitlist spot. If a space becomes available, our staff will contact you directly by email or phone and you will have 24 hrs to reply. If no reply is received within 24 hrs, you can remain on the waitlist but will move onto the next person on the waitlist.

Cancellations & Refunds

Please read carefully:·

2 weeks notice provided; 2 weeks from the first day of camp are required in writing by emailing bridlepathstable@gmail.com , refunds with this notice is provided and will be minus the $200 non-refundable per child. You may also request moving to another week

Less then 2 weeks notice is provided; no refunds will be issues unless we can fill your space off a wait list. Refund would be less $ 200 non-refundable deposit. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to fill the space and in this case payment for camp(s) will still be due in accordance with our payment guidelines.

Missed days of camp will not be credited or refunded.

After the first day of camp has started, refunds will only be issued for medical reasons and a doctor’s note must be provided. Medical cancellations will be less the $200 non-refundable deposit + days attended, refunds will be for balance of day after medical cancellation applies.

If the camp deposit is not made within 48 hrs. of registration your camp space will be cancelled.

If camps are cancelled or spaces are reduced due to Stable Management decisions or NL Health Guidelines, clients will receive a full refund for camp(s) registered for.
