Bridle Path Stable is owned and operated by Brad Gosse and Susan Quigley. In 2011 we moved to the Goulds after purchasing a 2 acre hobby farm and building a 6 stall barn, but after a few years we felt like we needed more room to grow and in 2017 purchased a 46 acre property in the Goulds and the dream began to grow! Since then we have been slowly building their dream to have a small family run boarding barn and indoor area at home. Currently we are leasing a barn in the west end of St. John's until construction is completed.
Susan has been actively involved with horses since the age of 6 when she went to the barn with a friend and that was was hooked. Horses have always been a passion over the years and after graduating from Memorial University with a degree in Recreation Management took on a full time position at Clovelly Stables for 5 years. From Clovelly, she made the decision to go back into the traditional Recreation Field and has been working in Aquatics for the past 12 years developing her Management and Human Resource Skills while running Bridle Path part-time and traveling on the Avalon teaching riding. In 2018 she also became Certified as an Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator, from Cartier Farms, to be able to grow Bridle Path programming and the fill a gap in programs that teaching life skills but with her experience the twist is that it is using horses! By marring her experience in management and human resources with her passion of horses participants are in for a truly unique experience when attending any of Bridle Path's Equine Assisted Learning & Leadership Programs!
